PayPal
PayPal (part of eBay Inc.) is an online payment service that lets you pay on eBay and other online stores. But you can with Paypal also transfer money online to family and friends or receive. PayPal has over 150 million accounts worldwide. You can pay from your bank account or transfer, credit card or by the balance of your PayPal account. You can find more information about PayPal at PayPal.
Once you link your bank account, transfer or credit card to a PayPal account. PayPal transfers the money directly to the seller's account. Then the amount will be automatically debited from your own account. Your purchase can be sent to you as soon as possible. So you don't need to deposit any money in your PayPal account. PayPal account balances can be easily refunded to your bank account. Your financial information is never disclosed to the seller. Both buyer and seller receive proof of payment in the inbox immediately after each payment order from PayPal. If the goods are not delivered, PayPal can act as an intermediary between the buyer and the seller.
Opening a PayPal account is free. There are therefore no additional costs, as is sometimes the case with other payment methods.
Bank card
Payments by credit card are made in full when ordering, and in euros only.
Credit card payments are secured by the Merc@net solution from BNP Paribas, in accordance with French and international interbank regulations.
This solution allows the buyer to make his purchases in complete safety.
When paying for your order online, you are automatically transferred to the bank's server through a secure transaction in SSL mode (128-bit key session, in accordance with the authorizations of the French Government). The card number is thus encrypted between the browser and the Merc@net server.
Maestro
Acceptance of the Maestro card on the Internet is based on the classic On-SiteTrading Debit MasterCard procedure worldwide.
When shopping online on the Internet, the customer is first directed to a secure page of their card-issuing bank when paying with Maestro. Maestro acceptance is only possible through the MasterCard SecureCode authentication process. The cardholder is identified here using a password or PIN. Only then will the actual online payment take place. A legitimate complaint from the customer with the argument "The transaction was not executed by me" is no longer possible. Fraud is thus excluded and you are guaranteed to be paid.
Mastercard
MasterCard Inc. is a worldwide licensing company for the supply of credit cards. It is one of the largest companies in its sector.
VISA
Visa is an American company that works for thousands of banks around the world. Visa's task is to provide a comprehensive network for Visa cardholders. Visa ensures that as many merchants as possible accept the Visa card. Visa therefore provides the payment infrastructure, but does not itself issue Visa cards.
